Review: Big Intentions Card Deck

Review: Big Intentions Card Deck – Guidance for Embodied Purposeful Living by Erin Lee & Keturah Tracy.

Big Intentions

“May you be all that you intend.”

This simple invocation sets the tone for this beautiful and heartfelt deck, which invites you into a deeper relationship with your body, breath, mind, heart, and soul.

When we choose to live with intention, we move through life with greater purpose and meaning. This deck supports that shift, helping you tune into your inner landscape in a way that feels both grounded and expansive. There are beautiful quotes scattered throughout — one I especially loved was, “Inspired = in-spirit.” That really captures the energy of this offering.

The cards are stunning — rich with gold detailing (which is tricky to photograph but absolutely luminous in person). Keturah Tracey's divine illustrations bring softness and presence to each yoga pose, while the companion book offers guidance that is compassionate and non-harmful. One of the most freeing reminders is that the poses are not about perfection or looking a certain way. They’re invitations to presence. You’re encouraged not to compare yourself to others (like we often do in class), but to move gently, honouring your own body and whatever it’s carrying.

What really sets this deck apart is how it’s not just about yoga — it’s about living on purpose. The intentions are what stay with you. Pulling a card each morning helped guide how I moved through my day — it became a quiet little anchor. If you wanted to, you could even just work with one card per week, letting it slowly integrate through breath, thought, movement, and life.

Even though I haven’t practiced yoga in a long time, this deck reminded me how much I love it — and why. Opening me up to something deeper than the movement itself. It became a journey into intention. For me, that’s where the magic happened.

I especially connected with the Surrender, Balance, and Truth cards — though truly, they all carry their own kind of medicine. This deck holds a lovely, gentle energy. I’m actually a little sad to be finishing my time working with it... I might just keep it on my table a little longer. It feels like a wise, supportive presence in my space.

I recommend this to anyone craving more presence, softness, and clarity in their life.
